What I do

My story

My name is Enrico Armenia, my hometown is Trieste. I'm a Web Designer and web consultant and I help professionals and small companies to create the online presence..

Despite my young age, I have always believed that training does not necessarily have to come only from an academic environment. For this reason, I decided to move to the other side of the world to gain experiences that no book could ever give me.

I lived for two years in New Zealand where I had the opportunity to learn a second language (English) and gain international work experience. I have collaborated on the creation of websites such as The Rose Centre Theatre (Auckland), Slow Food Auckland. After that, I lived for a year in Australia (where I worked for a Ferrari and Lamborghini dealer, as customer service) and as a volunteer Social Media Specialist per “Homeless in Melbourne“.

In 2020, I moved to Skuodas, a small town in the north of Lithuania, as an Erasmus+ volunteer at a library. This experience allowed me to learn the third language, Lithuanian, and to create my first blog in Lithuanian. During my stay, I had the opportunity to build relationships with local artists and appreciate the cultural richness of the region.

In the summer of 2022, I participated in a project Erasmus Young Entrepreneurs a Lisbon, where I collaborated with a book store, a Art gallery and a co-working space. During this experience, I dealt with social media management and, in exchange, I received entrepreneurial training and had the opportunity to work on new international projects. This allowed me to pitch my digital agency.

My work and study experiences abroad have made me a person internally strong. I became one international person thanks to the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, with different origins, cultures, languages and socio-economic contexts. L'English has become the my second language and I started learning other languages like Lithuanian, lo Spanish and Portuguese. I assimilated the entrepreneurial mentality of foreigners and thanks to them I developed a more authentic thought and international.. During this journey, I created my first websites in English and entered into international collaborations.

My work as a web designer and web consultant has a single objective: to create websites and manage social media for entrepreneurs who wish to balance work and family without compromises. My clients are small and medium-sized businesses Freelencersand organization who want to present their business all over the world.

I chose to collaborate with them because I like to create relationships with entrepreneurs or owners. Small companies need a solid online presence more than anyone.

Intervista-Parliamo-Overturism

The phenomenon of overtourism is getting out of our hands

Over the past few years I have had the privilege of traveling. Initially, I undertook a period of study abroad, but during this experience I discovered that my true passion is travel, going beyond simple tourism.  Before venturing on longer trips and immersing myself in life abroad on my own, I spent short periods on holiday with the company of my parents and friends, often limiting ourselves to a week. In these cases, we usually stayed in hotels, visited mainly tourist places and often enjoyed foods designed for tourists.

I TOOK THE WORLD MAP, SPENT IT 4 TIMES AND... I CHANGED MY LIFE (NOW I LIVE IN LITHUANIA)

The life of Enrico, a boy originally from Trieste, changed in 2015 when he had the opportunity to move to Dublin to learn English. The choice fell on that city in a truly fortuitous way, because Enrico actually took the globe, turned it 4 times and his finger stopped right on Dublin!

INTERVISTA TUTTO QUELLO CHE DEVI SAPERE PER TRASFERIRTI IN NUOVA ZELANDA & AUSTRALIA.

Cities have always been like people, they show their different personalities to the traveller. Depending on the city or the traveler, a mutual love, or antipathy, friendship or enmity can arise. Solo attraverso i viaggi possiamo sapere dove c’è qualcosa che ci appartiene oppure no, dove siamo amati e dove siamo rifiutati.

I CAN'T BELIEVE MY ERASMUS FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS EXCHANGE HAS ALREADY ENDED.

I spent 3 very intense and interesting months, full of challenges and difficulties. However, from the various difficulties that I faced, I drew personal lessons that have also helped me to benefit from them. I started a new habit, I learned to manage, through a specific app, the economic income taking into account all the expenses, thus helping me to define a monthly spending budget.

INTERVISTA AUSTRALIA & NUOVA ZELANDA

A trip under 30 that pushed Enrico, very young, to want to discover a place with few Italians and led him to be able to seize that rare opportunity of being able to live at the antipodes of Italy using the work permit for young people, the Holiday Working Visa. In Australia there are abundant opportunities, a cheerful and sunny lifestyle, the possibility for anyone who wants to get involved to find work easily, even with basic English. Here we talk about the experiences we had in Melbourne and Sydney. In New Zealand, he knows the welcoming reality of Auckland, a place that has truly remained close to him.

Intervista-Lituania

INTERVIEW LIVING IN LITHUANIA

It is with great pleasure that today we talk about one of the lands that still has the sense of discovery, a territory certainly not explored by the masses, nor yet too popular by those who want to go and live abroad. Yet Vilnius seems to be growing at a very interesting pace and already has many success stories for Italians seeking their fortune in this Baltic land. Enrico lived in this country of which he is deeply in love, for a whole year. Here he felt truly welcomed and treated like a KING! Anyone who wants to look for new opportunities for professional and personal development will find a lot in this country! It is said that there are more opportunities in Vilnius than in Dublin for Italian and English speakers. Enrico also dedicated himself to learning the local language and managed to really become familiar with this people who take time to get to know and appreciate.
